Paralympics body to be notified on Israeli swim team ban

The Malaysian Paralympics Council (MPM) will formally notify the International Paralympics Committee (IPC) on Putrajaya's stand on banning Israeli swimmers from a competition to be held in Kuching later this year.

Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said today that the cabinet had discussed the matter and would uphold its immigration ban on visitors from Israel.

"A formal letter to the Sarawak youth and sports minister will be sent by the Home Ministry...
