Happy ending for wedding disrupted by Cameron by-election

When the Cameron Highlands by-election polling day was set for Jan 26, Syazleen Anisa Misria was in panic and despair as she learnt that the polling centre chosen was the same venue she had booked for her wedding on the same day.

However, after her post on the Election Commission (EC) Facebook lamenting this matter went viral on social media, the commission contacted her privately and they resolved the matter, with the wedding being brought forward by one week.

Today, the hall at SMK Sultan Ahmad Shah was decked out in white wedding decorations as Syazleen, dressed in a resplendent blue dress, and her husband, celebrate their wedding together with their friends and family...
