A Universiti Malaya (UM) student said he and his friends' motivation for their "silent protest" against former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak was to remind the latter of his misdeeds.

Wong Yan Ke told Malaysiakini that the protest was not a form of provocation but instead an expression of disgust over Najib's ongoing charm campaign.
