The prosecution in former premier Najib Abdul Razak's SRC International case will write to Chief Justice Richard Malanjum to request for the SRC International case to be given priority over the 1MDB matter, said a source.

The source told Malaysiakini that Malanjum's decision must be obtained before the Kuala Lumpur High Court starts hearing the SRC case next Wednesday.
