Several areas in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will be experiencing water disruptions - staggered over one week - from today to March 9.

According to Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas), the cut in water supply was to enable cleaning work to be carried out on a number of reservoirs and water tanks.

In a statement released yesterday, Syabas advised residents to store sufficient water and use it prudently during this period.

The areas affected by the water disruptions are:

Thursday, March 2

Petaling Jaya's sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 52, Vista Angkasa, Selangor State Development Corporation Flats, Kampung Kerinchi, Mid Valley and Petaling Height, Taman Sri Putra (all from 9.30am to 12.30am); and Taman Halaman Kesuma, Gombak (9am to 9pm).

Friday, March 3

Bandar Rawang Jaya, Sungai Choh, Taman Bukit Subang (9.30am to 11.30pm); and Bandar Puchong Utama (9.30am to 9.30pm).

Saturday, March 4

Klang's Jalan Kebun, Taman Berjaya, Jalan Istana, Istana Alam Shah, Klang District Office, Klang Municipal Concil Office, Syabas Office, Bukit Tinggi, Taman Botanic, Kampung Pulau Indah, Phase 1 & 2 of the Pulau Indah Industrial Area, West Port Terminal, Star Cruise Terminal, Telok Gong and Kota Permai.

Kuala Langat's Sijangkang, Mile 9 and 10 Kebun Baru, Telok Penglima Garang, Bukit Komandol and Pulau Carey.

Supply disruptions in Klang and Kuala Langat will be from 10pm to 10am the next day.

Sunday, March 5

SB Jaya Industrial Area and Sungai Buloh (9.30am to 9.30pm)

Monday, March 6

Taman Setiawangsa, Sri Rampai, Setapak Jaya, Setapak Permai, Kampung Pasir Wardieburn, Kampung Loke Yew and Kuala Lumpur City Hall Flats (9am to 9pm).

Tuesday, March 7

Rustika Condominium, Gombak, Sri Gombak's Phase 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 and Kampung Melayu, Sri Gombak (9am to 9pm).

Wednesday, March 8

Bukit Serdang (Permata) (9.30am to 9.30pm); Desa Aman Puri and Wangsa Permai, Gombak (9am to 9pm).

Taman Wangsa Ukay, Bukit Utama, Taman Bukit jaya, Super Home, Jalan Wangsa 5A, Atheneum Apartment, Bukit Antarabangsa and Kampung Sungai Sering (9am to 9pm).

Thursday, March 9

Damansara Damai (9.30am to 12.30am) and Jalan Hulu Kelang, Gombak (9am to 9pm).
