MACC to call Zahid, Hisham to assist land swap probe after Raya: Sources
MACC will summon former defence ministers Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Hishammuddin Hussein after this Hari Raya Aidilfitri to assist the probe into land swap deals involving the Defence Ministry, said sources.
This, according to a source close to the case, is to give some time to MACC investigators to finish recording statements from several other individuals first.
"MACC has yet to record their statements. The investigating officer needs to take statement from others first," said the high ranking official.

Malaysiakini learned that Zahid, who is also former deputy prime minister, would take the first turn before Hishammuddin.
Earlier this month, MACC deputy chief commissioner (operations) Azam Baki (above) told the media that he does not discount the possibility of calling in Zahid to facilitate the investigation.
"I do not discount the possibility. Anyone who is involved will be called," he was quoted as saying.
The probe was launched after an audit by the ministry discovered the involvement of former prime ministers and defence ministers in land swaps deals involving the Defence Ministry's real estate.
This was revealed by current defence minister Mohamad Sabu during the tabling of the final report of the Governance, Procurement and Finance Investigating Committee's probe on MinDef in the Dewan Negara on May 9.
