1. Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change Minister Yeo Bee Yin said the cabinet's decision to let Lynas explore the possibility of a local permanent disposal facility was not ideal, but better than the status quo.

2. DAP Youth called on the cabinet to reveal which ministers are in support of Lynas' license renewal.

3. Education Minister Maszlee Malik denied that the introduction of khat was aimed at Islamising vernacular schools.

4. Dong Zong denied it would be holding a rally, while DAP leaders will meet to discuss the khat issue on Monday.
