"I am not involved, I don't want to be involved," he told reporters in Petaling Jaya this afternoon.
Earlier today, six clips featuring two men engaging in sexual activities were released on the messaging platform WhatsApp.
The video contained within was split into six three-minute clips, and appeared to be from the same video sent to reporters repeatedly over the past few months.
Anwar had also denied involvement in the release of the previous clips following speculation that it could be related to his feud with Azmin.
Azmin, the economic affairs minister, had claimed that the videos were part of a nefarious campaign to end his political career. He was also convinced that it was an inside job.
When asked if PKR would take action against its deputy president after the release of the higher-resolution clips, Anwar said the matter would be left to the police.
"Firstly, I have not seen the video. Secondly, I leave it to the authorities," he said.
