10 PKR state chiefs call for Zuraida's sacking

Ten PKR state chiefs today made an open call for party vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin's dismissal, barely an hour after it was revealed that she had been served with a show-cause letter.

Kedah PKR chief Johari Abdul said the state chiefs who met today, following the monthly Central Leadership Council meeting held earlier, agreed that the party disciplinary board should move to sack Zuraida for alleged indiscipline and her outburst against PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.

"Today we urge, after we received similar urges from the ground, from division heads in the states, for us (state chiefs) to take a strong stand that Zuraida must be sacked from the party....
