M'sia in 'late containment' after 190 new Covid-19 cases and 7 news from yesterday

KINI ROUNDUP | Here are key headlines you may have missed yesterday, in brief.

1. Malaysia recorded 190 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 428 cases.

2. Health Minister Dr Adham Baba said Malaysia's Covid-19 situation is now in the "late containment" stage. The next and most severe stage will be "mitigation".

3. Former minister Rafidah Aziz said the battle against Covid-19 should not be left to the Health Ministry alone and the entire government must be mobilised.

4. Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, along with Health Ministry and Defence Ministry representatives, will meet today to discuss the introduction of further measures to curb the Covid-19 outbreak.
