CORONAVIRUS | Police and Health Ministry personnel will start knocking on doors in Sungai Lui, Hulu Langat, to inspect those who have Covid-19 symptoms.
The process will be carried out in seven villages in Sungai Lui which are under the enhanced movement control order (MCO).
Those with symptoms will have to undergo health screening at the local Klinik Desa, said Kajang police chief Dzaffir Mohd Yussof.
"On the third day of the enhanced MCO (today), six officers and 53 police personnel, as well as several agencies, will help in conducting a census in three villages," he told the media at the roadblock heading towards the villages.
Dzaffir (photo) said the process to inspect all the villages will take about three days.

The villages have been under the enhanced MCO since March 30 after the Health Ministry confirmed 71 positive Covid-19 cases among the 274 residents of the Maahad Tahfiz AnNabawiyyah at Batu 23 in Sungai Lui.
The enhanced MCO affects 3,918 people in 700 homes in seven villages.
They are Kampung Batu 21, Kampung Batu 22, Kampung Batu 23, Kampung Batu 24, Kampung Gemi, Kampung Orang Asli Paya Lebar, and Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Gabai.
Meanwhile, Dzaffir said 44 individuals have been arrested for violating the MCO under the Kajang district.
This included a man who disguised as a tabligh member in Balakong on March 30.
Dzaffir said the man, in his 20s, was seen loitering near an apartment in the area and claimed to have been a tabligh member who participated in a gathering at the Sri Petaling mosque.
"We decided to separate the man and informed the Health Ministry who later came to sanitise the CID area.
"We learnt that the man had lied after interviewing his family and friends. He admitted to having lied to escape from being arrested by the police," he said.
