RON97 and RON95 will go up by 10 sen while diesel will increase by nine sen per litre for the period of June 27 to July 3.

According to a statement from the Finance Ministry today, based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula, the new price of RON97 is RM1.99 per litre; RON95, RM1.69 per litre; and diesel, RM1.86 per litre.

This increase is due to changes in refined product prices, in line with current crude oil prices.

The government will continue to monitor the impact of global crude oil price change and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people, the statement added.
