1MDB TRIAL | Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak had personally agreed to Mohd Hazem Abdul Rahman joining 1MDB as an executive director, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard today.

This was another demonstration of Najib's authority over 1MDB, which under Article 117 of the company's memorandum and articles of association, states that the prime minister must decide on major appointments or investments.
