Water supply disruption in Petaling due to burst pipe

Up to 50 areas in the Petaling District will experience an unscheduled disruption in water supply following a burst pipe at the Jalan Kerinci, Bukit Angkasa intersection at 9pm last night.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) corporate communications head Elina Baseri said in a statement last night that water supply will be shut down at midnight tonight to allow repairs to be carried out, which are expected to be completed by noon tomorrow.

She said water supply will be provided to the affected areas while the repairs are being carried out and Air Selangor expects the water supply will be fully resumed by 6pm tomorrow.

Lorry tankers will be mobilised to the affected areas to provide water assistance to help the affected consumers, Elina said.

The list of affected areas are as follows:
