A patient believed to be positive with Covid-19 escaped from Penang Hospital.
The 24-year-old man fled the hospital in white shirt and pants at around 3.20pm.
His escape prompted police to initiate efforts in tracking him down.
Penang police chief Sahabudin Ab Manan confirmed the incident, according to Bernama.
A police progress report said the man was tested positive for Covid-19.
He was eventually found by police in Bayan Lepas this evening.
