"I am saddened by his passing. He was very committed when it came to work. He still kept in the loop even though he was ill," Noor Fuzana Yaakub said when met in Gombak today.
"He was liked by all, and he befriended all, young or old. His loss will be felt," she added.
Baharom, 54, was admitted to hospital two weeks ago for having gallstones.
He then had a bacterial infection, and the complications then attacked his heart.
His remains were buried at the Raudhatul Sakinah Muslim cemetery in Kuala Lumpur after Zohor prayers.
Among those who paid their respects earlier were Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Umno Youth chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.
