Previously, Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin volunteered to be the first person in the country to be vaccinated.
Malaysia is on track to receive vaccines from the Covax Facility and Pfizer-BioNTech next year, for 30 percent of the population.
The vaccine will be prioritised for high-risk groups, including frontliners and the elderly.
Ultimately, Malaysia plans to vaccinate up to 70 percent of the population to develop herd immunity.
The UK, which has begun administering the Pfizer vaccine, has reported two cases of nurses suffering from anaphylaxis after injection, and one case of an allergic reaction - but concerns, for now, appear limited to those with a history of severe allergies.
Hassan said vaccination would give the people back their freedom.
"Let us together wage war on the Covid-19 pandemic so that we can get back our freedom, independence, and way of life as a dignified society," the PKR lawmaker said.
