EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

- Real Kids, Wangsa Melawati, Kuala Lumpur

The school is closed for sanitation starting Jan 29 after a student at this preschool has tested positive for Covid-19.

She had contact with an infected family member and was last in school on Jan 22, the principal said in a notice to parents.

Students and teachers of the Pre-1 Daisy class who had close contact with the student will undergo Covid-19 tests, paid by the pre-school.


RESIDENCES

- Desa Idaman Apartment, Taman Puchong Prima, Selangor

The management said in a notice to residents, sighted by Malaysiakini, that a resident from Block B had been confirmed positive for Covid-19 on Jan 27.

Common areas will be sanitised and residents were urged not to step out of their houses without good reason.

- Sky Peak Residences, Taman Setia Tropika, Johor Baru, Johor

Two residents of Block A, Level 6 tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the management said in a notice to residents today.

Common areas will be disinfected, it said.


BUSINESSES

- Village Grocer Melawati Mall, Kuala Lumpur

The management said that a staff member from the fruit and vegetable department in the Melawati Mall outlet tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 28. The staff was last at work on Jan 27.

The outlet will be closed on Jan 29 for all staff to undergo screening and for the store to be sanitised.

It will reopen on Jan 30.

- Family Store, Rembau, Negeri Sembilan

The management said in a notice sighted by Malaysiakini that the Rembau branch will be closed from Jan 28 to Jan 31 for disinfection works.

This comes after one of its staff tested positive for Covid-19.

- Village Grocer, Bangsar Village, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a statement that a part-time staff from their Bangsar Village branch tested positive on Jan 27 from an antigen (RTK) test. The staff last reported working on Jan 21.

Pending the staff's polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test results, the branch will be closed on Jan 29 for all staff to get tested and sanitisation to be done at the store. The business will resume on Jan 30.

- Petronas Ramin Way, Sibu, Sarawak

An individual who tested positive for Covid-19 visited this location on Jan 21 at 5.53am - 2pm, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Wash Studio Sentosa, Sibu, Sarawak

An individual who tested positive for Covid-19 visited this location on Jan 22 at 9.07am - 10.25am, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- i Mart Xcel, Kanowit, Sarawak

A customer who visited the store on Jan 20, at 6.40pm to 7.10pm, tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Dalat Hospital, Sarawak

Individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 were at this location on Jan 20 and Jan 23 at 10am to 12pm, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- 72 Porky House, Jalan Tudan, Miri, Sarawak

A customer who visited on Jan 17 at 12.50pm to 1.30pm tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- 2020 Cafe, Jalan Pelita Utama, Miri, Sarawak

A customer who visited on Jan 21 at 9am to 10am tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.

- Various businesses in Bintulu, Sarawak

Individuals who tested positive for Covid-19 in Bintulu visited these locations days before diagnosed, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said:

Mizal Cafe & Catering (Jan 22, 1.05pm - 1.55pm)

Eve Garden, Bintulu (Jan 24, 1.05pm - 1.55pm)

New World Mart Kidurong (Jan 24, 1pm to 1.25pm)

SS Supersave Kidurong (Jan 24, 1.30pm - 2pm)

- DVZ Mishang, Sutera Mall, Johor Baru, Johor

An employee of DVZ Mishang on Level 2 of this mall tested positive on Wednesday, the mall said in a notice.

The employee was last at work on Jan 21 and underwent testing on Jan 25 as staff at the person's other workplace had tested positive for Covid-19.

The shop is closed for disinfection while other employees are undergoing Covid-19 tests.

The mall said it will sanitise common areas more frequently.


MARKETS

- CCK Freshmart Pasar Malam, Bintulu, Sarawak

An individual who was at this market on Jan 22 from 7am to 4pm, tested positive for Covid-19, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee said.


GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Kuching Water Board, Sarawak

The board's customer service and payment counter are closed for two weeks starting yesterday after a staff member tested positive, the board's general manager Rodziah Mohamad said in a statement.

The staff member was last at KWB on Jan 25, she said.

All close contacts are undergoing quarantine and disinfection is underway, she said.

- Johor Menteri Besar's office, Johor

The Johor Menteri Besar's office will be closed until Tuesday for cleaning and sanitisation.

State health exco R Vidyananthan told Malaysiakini it was a "precautionary measure".

It is unclear if there was a Covid-19 case at the office.


OFFICES

- Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry Johor Division, Menara Ansar, Johor Baru, Johor

The Jalan Trus cluster is linked to a case detected at the ministry's Johor office, located on Level 13 of this office tower, China Press reported.

The office tower is located on Jalan Trus.

A notice at the ministry's office states that it is closed until Jan 30, upon the instruction of the Health Ministry.
