Najib Abdul Razak raised his pending bid in a US court in an attempt to postpone his ongoing RM2.28 billion 1MDB corruption trial in Malaysia.

However, the Kuala Lumpur High Court rejected the postponement application by the former prime minister’s defence team during open court proceedings today.
