SH Huang: The MP of Kota Bahru has said it! Will the PM do it? Is he even listening? Of course, he has put in place several 'institutes' to change the mindset of the people. The question is whether he will finally act on what he has announced and pronounced. Unless a leader is prepared to act, he is just playing along and singing along!

The PM must do something to right the wrongs. It was once said that "justice delayed is justice denied". It was also said that " justice hurried is justice buried". I would add my version of justice - justice cock-eyed is justice bigoted.

Sang Kancil: I totally agree with YB Zaid that we need to reopen the Salleh Abas case to right the "alleged wrong". I use the words "alleged wrong" because it could be righted. We need to open the case as public confidence in the judiciary was somewhat lost after that crisis and YB Zaid has rightly asked, 'Why are we afraid to correct a wrong of the past?' I asked, 'Why are we so afraid if it was done correctly?'

Meng: Dear honourable MP, it is not only this issue of the judiciary that a great sin had been committed against Salleh and the other Supreme Court justices but many more in which this government has chosen to ignore.

I have said that unless this new administration right the wrongs of the previous administration by bringing to justice or investigating all allegations of corruption and wrongdoing, the BN government will forever be burdened and judged as having brought this country down. God Almighty will judge this nation for the sins committed and I believe our dear PM as a religious man will agree with me.

We have robbed the poor by corruption, we have squandered and plundered the nation with careless use of national funds. We have allowed illegal immigrants to enjoy the fruits of our nation in Sabah and we have done injustice to a Malay man by robbing him of six good years of his life.

We need to investigate, bring to justice and hunt down all those who have brought our money out of the country and plundered our national coffers for personal gain. We need to ask questions about the Election Commission, its honesty and transparency, we need to resolve the issues of police brutality where a mother loss her son without any explanation. Only until then the BN government can begin to gain some form of credibility back from the people.

Ah Chong: Zaid Ibrahim is a lone ranger going against a tide of corruption and waste. I think Zaid Ibrahim and Shahrir Samad, both men of conscience and integrity, should consider joining Parti Keadilan Rakyat where there is at least talk of justice and integrity, whether or not there the opposition party has the strength to make it happen. We should all seriously consider hopping on a different vehicle come 2008.

On Mustapa apologises for Ong's disclosure

Mohd Kamal Abdullah: It has come as a surprise that public funds meant for vernacular schools have been embezzled by the Education Ministry officials and the education minister, Hishammuddin Tun Hussein is embroiled in a war of words today with MCA vice-president and Higher Education Deputy Minister Ong Tee Kiat over the issue.

Being a responsible officer, Hishammuddin should resign and take responsibility for his officials action in embezzling the funds meant badly for these schools.

It seems that the Barisan Nasional government that is administering our country has lost its grounds and with its various crisis currently exposed, the rakyat trust in the Barisan Nasional has completely eroded. It seems that there is no accountability and responsibility existing with the current administration.

PT Tan: What is Mustapa apologising for? If Ong Tee Keat has overstepped his boundaries, then sack him. Or is he apologising for the missing funds? Why is the focus on style and not substance where are the funds then? Where did it go missing? Or is what Ong said untrue? We want answers!

HL Too: I read with interest and curiosity the statement by Kubang Pasu Umno division chief Mohd Johari Bahrum that "RM200 can't buy our delegates to reject Tun (Mahathir). I don't think that such a cheap (rate) can make us reject Tun", while refuting the allegations of Dr M on bribery being used in the contest to elect delegates.

If the rate (RM 200) is too cheap, can Mohd Johari tell us what would he regard as a more reasonable rate for bribing the delegates?
