S'gor BN: What happened to 'No Anwar, No DAP' vow?

Selangor BN information chief Isham Jalil has chastised his pro-Perikatan Nasional Umno colleagues for their apparent willingness to now cooperate with the opposition, particularly with PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim and his key ally, DAP.
Isham, who was a former special officer to then prime minister Najib Abdul Razak, noted that these Umno colleagues had previously pushed the "No Anwar, No DAP" narrative.
"So, who are the ones who now want to make a new alignment with PKR and DAP? What were they saying prior to this? Wasn't it 'No Anwar, No DAP'?
"But now, they can make any promises in order to save their positions," he said in a statement on Facebook.
Isham also shared an article from April quoting Arau MP Shahidan Kassim declaring that it would be an "embarrassment" if Umno formed an alliance with PKR and DAP.
Shahidan is part of the Umno faction backing Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and is opposed to Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's efforts to take the party out of the ruling coalition.
Isham was referring to Muhyiddin's announcement yesterday offering a pact with the opposition to rebuild his majority.
This was after a group of 15 Umno MPs led by Zahid withdrew support for Muhyiddin.
Muhyiddin now has the support of 100 out of 220 MPs, 11 short of a majority.
In the proposed pact, Muhyiddin offered equitable treatment of opposition MPs and also a slew of reforms that the opposition have been lobbying for.
This includes imposing a term limit for the prime minister’s post, allowing more opposition MPs to lead special parliamentary select committees and granting the opposition leader the status similar to a senior minister.
The opposition has rejected Muhyiddin's offer.
