School attendance in Perlis, Perak, Penang, Sabah, and Sarawak will follow a rotational method from Nov 21 and 22, said the Education Ministry.

In a statement today, the ministry said this will apply to students in Standard 1 to Standard 6, remove class, and Form 1 to Form 4.

“The attendance for students in boarding schools will be done without rotation. The school will inform parents and guardians for details,” said the ministry.

Yesterday, the ministry announced that educational institutions under its purview in Perlis, Perak, Penang, Sabah, and Kedah will resume operations on Nov 21 and 22.

Schools will begin on Nov 21 in Kedah and Nov 22 in Perak, Perlis, Penang, and Sabah. The five states entered Phase 4 of the NRP yesterday.

Educational institutions under the ministry also refer to private educational institutions registered under the ministry.

Meanwhile, the ministry in its statement said it will continue to monitor face-to-face school operations since they resumed on Oct 3.

So far, it said school operations were found to have run smoothly.
