COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 3,010 new Covid-19 cases today, bringing the cumulative infections to 2,808,347.

The fresh infections comprised 2,838 Malaysians (94.3 percent) and 172 non-citizens (5.7 percent).

They were more than the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered, which totalled 2,584. This is expected to contribute to a rise in the number of active cases.

Those who require intubation have also declined by 29.1 percent from a week ago.
