On Sunday, Kampung Berembang in Ampang was the venue for the celebrations of the Human Rights Day.

Grassroots movement Jerit organised the celebrations at the village to show their solidarity with the villagers whose homes were forcibly demolished by the authorities last month.

A huge crowd of people turned up to show their support for the villagers who have now set up makeshifts shelters in the village.

Malaysiakini.tv was also there to capture the spirit of Human Rights Day being celebrated by all.
