Thousands of Sunday shoppers, activists and opposition supporters gathered near the Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP) highway yesterday to protest against the recent toll hike in five major Klang Valley highways.

The two-hour protest started at the Sunway Pyramid shopping complex - about 800m from LDP toll in Puchong - saw the demonstrators playing a cat-and-mouse game with hundreds of police.
