Kedah, S'gor PAS want to use party logo in GE15

PAS MUKTAMAR | Kedah and Selangor PAS representatives expressed hope that the PAS logo would be used in the 15th general election.

Kedah PAS representative Helmi Wahab said he wants party state leaders to propose and appeal for the PAS logo to be used in the upcoming polls.

“For us, the state of Kedah today, it can be seen that Kedah is magnificent with greenery.

“I, representing the delegates for the entire state of Kedah, (hope) that the green flag will be used against our political enemies in GE15,” he said during the debates on the PAS president’s policy speech in the party’s 68th muktamar held at the Kedah PAS complex today.

Helmi said he wishes to see the Kedah PAS leadership work to make this a reality.

Earlier, Kelantan PAS Supporters’ Assembly representative Lau Chin Chua also proposed for the party logo to be used in GE15 in PAS-controlled states, namely Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah.

He said this is to prevent confusion among voters.

Meanwhile, Selangor representative Noor Najhan Mohamad Salleh also expressed his wish to use the PAS logo in the state during the election.

“As requested by other states, including Kedah, Selangor PAS also would like to contest in GE15 using the PAS logo.

“This is important because if PAS is serious about wanting to be the mediator, then PAS needs to be seen as impartial and friendly to all,” he said, adding that he hoped to be able to go up against Pakatan Harapan in one-on-one fights.
