Ku Nan: Harapan binned many BN projects after winning GE14
Many projects planned by BN prior to the 14th general election were either put on hold or cancelled by Pakatan Harapan after the coalition came to power.

Many projects planned by BN prior to the 14th general election were either put on hold or cancelled by Pakatan Harapan after the coalition came to power.
So said Umno treasurer Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, claiming that Putrajaya - where he is the MP - was one of the places “affected”.
“One example is the NadiPutra bus initiative that BN took up to solve public transportation woes in Putrajaya. Unfortunately, when BN lost (in GE14), Harapan cancelled the project.
“They also cancelled many other things that had been well planned by BN, including the housing project for civil servants based in Putrajaya, priced below RM80,000,” Tengku Adnan (above) was quoted saying by Umno Online.
He further claimed that the binned projects include a primary religious school at Precinct 16, and four surau, which had even received the financial approval to proceed.

However, after negotiations, it was agreed that the surau projects can proceed, provided half the bill is footed by the locals, said Tengku Adnan, who leads Umno’s Putrajaya division.
“These people (Harapan politicians) don’t use their brains... it does not make sense to make the locals, which comprises mainly of lowly-paid civil servants (foot the bill).
“They also cut down (on the number of) civil servants, because they said they are like ‘parasites’. I urge you all better to be careful of these irresponsible people,” Tengku Adnan said.
He further claimed that BN was the only coalition that “truly” cared about the people’s welfare and strove to solve the problems they faced.
“BN has contributed a lot to the people, such as solving their educational and housing woes. In fact, the first PR1MA (1Malaysia People’s Housing Programme) housing project was here in Putrajaya.”
