Christmas cheer as Jaclyn Victor and Douglas Lim team up for mash-up

Popular singer Jaclyn Victor and comedian Douglas Lim have teamed up to give fans a mash-up gift to help usher in Christmas this year.

The duo were inspired by classic Christmas songs ‘All I want for Christmas’ and ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ in an effort produced by songwriter Amylea Azizan.

Former Malaysian Idol winner Jaclyn is known for her powerful vocals and has scored a number of hits such as ‘Gemilang’, ‘Seindah Mimpi’, and ‘Satu Harapan’.

She has won a total of 10 Anugerah Industry Muzik awards and also bagged five awards at Anugerah Juara Lagu making her one of the most successful artists in Malaysia.

Lim is known for his versatility after starting off as a musician and drifting into acting, playing a starring role in the 1990s sitcom Kopitiam.

He is also a radio DJ and most recently gained attention for a string of parody videos that went viral.

The video was originally shot in 2021 but remained unpublished last Christmas due to the difficulties the Malaysians experienced as a result of the flood crisis.

It was shot with the senior management of Aurelius Healthcare who wished to celebrate the festive season with this light-hearted offering.
