The police are probing a sexual harassment claim against a top official of an enforcement agency.

Inspector-general of Police Razarudin Husain confirmed the matter was being investigated, as reported by Harian Metro last night.

It is understood that the top official will have his statement recorded by the police tomorrow afternoon.

A police report by the complainant has been widely shared online as well as screenshots of her alleged text messages with the top official.

The complainant, a financial consultant, met the top official at his office in Putrajaya last November, marking the start of her ordeal.

"During our first meeting, the harassment started. He said 'It is raining, what should we do? Do you like to be on top or bottom?

"He also claimed that he had too much money and he could provide me with anything. He said if I wanted to eat an elephant head, he could provide that too," wrote the complainant.

Following this, the complainant claimed that the top official continued to induce her in exchange for a night out.

"I never followed him to any of those places because I knew he had bad intentions.

"As of Aug 31, he continued to invite me to spend a night with him and offered inducements, including projects," she said.

Since Aug 31, the complainant said she had received no less than 10 lewd videos or photographs from the top official.

Several images shared on social media claimed that the top official had sent the complainant photographs of male genitalia.

The complainant said the harassment led her into depression and developed a fear of meeting high-profile prospects over fear of being harassed.

"The incident has affected my work performance and loss of income because I can no longer visit (the enforcement agency) due to threats from (the top official)," wrote the complainant.
