Covid-19 jab: Anwar, WHO hit with RM60m class-action suit

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and the World Health Organization (WHO) were hit with a RM60 million class-action lawsuit over alleged health complications and deaths caused by Covid-19 vaccination.

The writ of summons targeted a total of 25 defendants, which also included former premiers Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the Health Ministry, the government, and WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

The defendants also included Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad and his predecessors Dr Adham Baba and Khairy Jamaluddin, Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and his predecessor Hamzah Zainudin, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek and her predecessor Mohd Radzi Md Jidin, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Dr Zaliha Mustafa, and former Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

According to the cause papers sighted by Malaysiakini, the eight plaintiffs are Malaysians who claimed to have suffered in some form from the government’s directive for mandatory vaccination at the height of the pandemic four years ago.

Among them was a Muar resident whose father passed away after allegedly receiving two doses of Sinovac and a booster shot of Pfizer.

One plaintiff was a grass cleaning worker who allegedly suffered a stroke with speech impairment and inability to walk normally, now needing a cane, after abiding by the government directive to receive two doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

Another plaintiff was a healthy female masseuse who suffered chronic vomiting, severe headaches and body pain with tremors after allegedly receiving a single dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and is now confined to a wheelchair.

One of the plaintiffs was an employee of a unit trust management company, who was allegedly instructed to take unpaid leave or resign voluntarily for refusing to abide by policy to receive the vaccine.

‘Fake, man-made biological weapon’

Besides financial compensation, the eight plaintiffs seek several civil court declarations, among them that Covid-19 is a “fake, a man-made biological weapon pandemic created to resemble seasonal flu”.

They seek a declaration that the natural living coronavirus has never been proven to exist by the Health Ministry and WHO because they purportedly failed to conduct isolation processes according to medical standards.

The plaintiffs seek a declaration and a writ of certiorari or prohibition for Anwar, the Health Ministry and the government to cease the injection of the “fake poisonous experimental vaccine”, and cancel all programmes such as the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (Pick) immediately.

They seek a court order for Anwar and the government to withdraw from being members of WHO and the World Economic Forum (WEF), which were alleged to be “planned criminals colluding to usurp the sovereignty of their member countries, including Malaysia.”

The plaintiffs also seek a declaration that the use of early and/or alternative and/or conventional treatments such as ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, favipiravir, corticosteroids, colchicine, and other similar drugs without taking the “fake poisonous experimental vaccine” should be allowed to treat Covid-19 victims.

Two days ago at the Kuala Lumpur High Court, the Attorney-General’s Chambers filed a memorandum of appearance for Anwar, the former premiers, the various sitting and former ministers, and the government, in response to the class-action lawsuit.

The civil court has set Feb 17 next year for case management of the suit.

The plaintiffs’ counsel from law firm Messrs Mohamad Zainuddin & Co filed the civil action on Oct 23.
