In an internal memo titled “Call for a Solidarity Gathering with Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Razak Demanding Justice” yesterday, PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan called on party leaders to mobilise members for the event, scheduled for 9am outside the Palace of Justice.
“Please ensure the attendance of our members to send a clear message to the Madani government led by the prime minister regarding the sanctity of the Federal Constitution and the rule of law demanded by the people,” Takiyuddin wrote in the memo sighted by Malaysiakini.
Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi emphasised that the peaceful gathering is a gesture of solidarity with Najib.
“All Umno divisions will send members, except for Sabah. The rally seeks clarity on the alleged royal addendum and its implementation,” Puad told The Star.
At the same time, Free Malaysia Today reported that Bersatu would not bar its members from joining the event.
“Bersatu leaders have not issued any specific order prohibiting members from participating in the rally.
“I am confident that there will be Bersatu leaders attending, and I do not rule out the possibility of joining as well to show solidarity,” said Bersatu Women chief Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.

PAS is embracing corruption and go against Mathathir wish if they support NR to serve his remaining sentence at home. Instead of fighting the most corrupt person on earth to return the billions to help the poor rakyat in their 4 northern poor states, they compromise with what their party policy stated. All the voters will know what to do in GE16 for PAS and Umno
