The Malaysian Bar’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for this morning was called off after failing to meet the required quorum.

The meeting in Kuala Lumpur was supposed to start at 9am, but only 304 members were present, far short of the 500 needed for proceedings to commence.
