As preparations for the upcoming Budget 2026 are underway, the government will also examine support mechanisms to strengthen housing reform, focusing on expanding access to affordable housing, said Finance Minister II Amir Hamzah Azizan.

He said the government is committed to ensuring that more Malaysians, especially those in the lower and middle-income groups, can own homes that are within their financial means.
