Bersatu’s endorsement of its president, Muhyiddin Yassin, as its candidate for the next prime minister appears to have hit a sore spot with fellow Perikatan Nasional coalition partner PAS.

Following Bersatu’s move to back Muhyiddin, PAS leaders have since voiced out against making hasty decisions without proper consultations among members of the opposition coalition.
