An ongoing internal investigation by Bersatu has identified a senior leader as the "mastermind" behind a purported plot to collect statutory declarations linked to alleged attempts at sidelining party president Muhyiddin Yassin.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, another Bersatu leader revealed the "mastermind's" name was mentioned by "witnesses" from among division leaders who claimed to have been contacted in connection with the SDs.
