The number of commercial vehicles fitted with speed limitation devices (SLD) has increased to 20,000 since the first phase of enforcement began on Oct 1.

Road Transport Department director-general Aedy Fadly Ramli said this statistic reflects growing awareness among commercial vehicle operators about safety compliance, especially after the enforcement operations.
