Lamenting the lack of evidence to demonstrate that the seven controversial “heritage” footballers are proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, lawyer Eric Paulsen once again pressed the government for answers.

Paulsen said that while the government has repeatedly claimed to exercise the highest standards of scrutiny in granting citizenship, the opposite appears to be true in the case of the foreign-born players.
