Pandamaran assemblyperson Tony Leong has clarified that Kampung Papan residents will be offered alternative housing at a discounted price, but the state government has made no promises on the provision of any facilities.

He said this in response to a statement by Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) deputy chairperson S Arutchelvan, which, among others, said the Selangor government will provide the affected residents with discounted apartments with “full facilities”.
