The MACC has detained the Environment Department’s (DOE) top two officials as part of investigations into alleged corruption in the management of e-waste in the country.

According to sources, the director and deputy director of the DOE were detained at about 6.30pm today when they showed up to have their statements recorded at the MACC’s headquarters in Putrajaya.
