Negeri Sembilan crisis
Negeri Sembilan Umno wings have accused the state government of acting “inappropriately and insensitively” by issuing an eviction notice against Sungai Ujong undang (chieftain) Mubarak Thahak.
The state’s Umno Youth, Umno Women, and Puteri Umno wings asserted that the move could be seen as a use of administrative power to pre-empt customary processes.
Echoing sentiments expressed by state Umno chief Jalaluddin Alias, the wings added that the decision has only confirmed concerns regarding Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun’s supposed failure to handle the ongoing royal crisis.

A supporters’ group of the Harimau Malaya national team, Ultras Malaya, has announced its decision to boycott all matches involving the squad, effective immediately.
The move was taken after the relevant parties failed to meet three key demands presented by the group on April 13, Malay-daily Sinar Harian reported.
According to the report, the group’s demands include revoking the citizenship of seven naturalised players, returning the management of Harimau Malaya to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), and implementing comprehensive reforms within the Malaysian football landscape.

“We are giving until Aug 31, 2026, for these three demands to be fulfilled and implemented by the relevant parties, to ensure that Malaysian football is truly free from narrow interests, governance failures, and prolonged systemic damage,” the statement read.
Ultras Malaya warned that failure to meet the demands would see them launch a more extensive boycott extending to all Malaysian League matches.
