The government has agreed to enhance the mechanism for distributing diesel subsidies under the Subsidised Diesel Control System by expanding eligibility to include jeeps and pickup trucks in the land goods transport sector nationwide, effective June 1.

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Armizan Ali said the decision was made during the May 20 cabinet meeting.
