Two more flag gaffes involving upside-down Jalur Gemilang have been reported in Johor, according to authorities.

One case involved a factory at the Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters Industrial Park in Iskandar Puteri, which was later found to be operating without a licence.

Photos from the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) showed that the factory hoisted two Jalur Gemilang and one Johor flag. One of the Malaysian flags and the Johor flag were seen inverted.

The factory has been ordered closed and was also fined for displaying business signs without a licence.

Twelve migrant workers at the factory were also detained for investigations into their work permits.

Police today said a 56-year-old man was also arrested with regard to the flags.

Separately, Johor deputy police chief Hoo Chuan Huat said there was another case involving an inverted flag in Pelangi Indah, and that two men aged 25 and 43 were arrested.

However, details are scant on this third incident.

Previously, on Monday, a factory in Kulai was temporarily shuttered after allegedly displaying both the Jalur Gemilang and Johor flags upside down.
