Berita Harian and Utusan Malaysia led with rumours of menteris besar and chief ministers contesting in parliament seats have been quashed as they will vie for state seats.

Tamil newspapers

All Tamil dailies - Malaysia Nanban , Tamil Nesan and Makkal Osai - led with the list of MIC’s candidates for the coming general election.

Makkal Osai also said that many supporters of former MIC deputy president S Subramaniam were disappointed and shocked that he was not allocated a seat by party president S Samy Vellu.
