New Straits Times headlined that the state leaders of Pahang, Kedah, Kelantan and Selangor supported Terengganu's claim that the maintenance cost for Proton Perdana Executive V6 vehicles was too high.

The Star featured that the Anti-Corruption Agency had started a probe into the alleged high cost of maintenance for 16 Proton Perdana V6 cars used in Terengganu.
