A plastic tub marked “Radioactive Bomb” that was left outside a shoplot in Sri Petaling turned out to be full of toy bricks that were meant for a team-building game with the alarming name.

Police said the box was accidentally left behind by a training company staffer after offloading gear following an event in Ipoh.

The police bomb squad had earlier destroyed the suspicious tub after initial checks found a “high” radioactive reading. However, later checks by the Atomic Energy Department found no radioactive readings at the scene.

The White House’ nominee for US ambassador to Malaysia, Joshua Harris, will appear before a Senate confirmation committee at 10pm Malaysia time tonight.

Harris (above) is a career diplomat and has served in Africa, West Asia, and Central and Eastern Europe.
