New Straits Times, Star and TheSun led with Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s rejection of the demand by PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim for an emergency parliamentary session to be convened before Tuesday to debate a motion of no-confidence against the premier.

New Straits Times and Star also highlighted the fall of stocks globally and within Malaysia, while TheSun frontpaged the cabinet’s nod to the proposed Race Relations Act.
