Utusan Malaysia reported that two more locations – Hill View Park and the area around Highland Towers - are susceptible to a landslide, according to Roslan Zainal Abidin of the International Catastrophe Prevention Centre at UiTM.

Berita Harian said 70 hill slopes around Bukit Antarabangsa need to be inspected to ensure the safety of the area and its residents.

Chinese newspapers

China Press headlined complaints from family members of Bukit Antarabangsa landslide victim, accountant Ng Yee Ping. They claimed that rescuers had refused to remove her from the rubble of their house and later stole belongings.

Nanyang Siang Pau highlighted a report in which a developers' association estimated that losses from the landslide could run into tens of millions of ringgit.

Sin Chew Daily

gave prominent to an announcement by Syabas that 68 ponds located on hill slopes around Selangor face a threat of landslides.

Oriental Daily News said the Selangor government will review all 114 development projects on Third and Fourth class hill slopes that had been approved by the previous government.

Tamil newspapers

Malaysia Nanban reported that MIC secretary-general and Human Resources Minister S Subramaniam will vie for the party presidency next March.

Tamil Nesan highlighted the withdrawal of 1,000 PKR members from the Padang Serai division to join MIC. They were led by political activist Sarjit Singh, formerly a DAP member.
