Palestinians and Arabs living in the Occupied Territories continue to suffer from the most dehumanising, inhumane and despicable policies, practices and measures imposed on them by the Israelis, a Malaysian MP told the United Nations.

Santubong MP Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said the report by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia contained disturbing accounts, facts and figures on the deteriorating economics and social conditions of Palestinians and Arabs in the Occupied Territories.

"Practically, every aspect of their daily life, from the moment they open their eyes until they go to bed, has been severely affected," he said when debating on permanent sovereignty of Palestine people in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, including East Jerusalem, and of the Arab Population in the occupied Syrian Golan at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.
