Three senators were sworn in before Senate President Tan Dr Abdul Hamid Pawanteh at the Parliament building in Kuala Lumpur today.

For Padang Petani Umno branch chief Siw Chun a/p Eam, it was her second term, while the other two were Rembau MCA branch chairman Lee Chee Keong and Armani Mahiruddin of Sabah, according to Bernama .

Siw, 41, was the former Wanita Umno head for Jejawi Permatang and head of the Malaysian Siamese Association's branch in Perlis while Lee, 51, has been with MCA since 1974.

Armani is the Sabah Wanita Umno head.
