Perak Menteri Besar Saarani Mohamad claimed there is an ongoing attempt to topple his administration.
He said PN plans to get at least four assemblypersons to defect, and trigger by-elections in seats they can win.
PN has 26 seats in the Perak legislature, four short of a simple majority.
Perak was starting point for Pakatan Harapan-BN cooperation after last year's general election saw no coalition securing a simple majority in the state.

National Day logo hubbub
PN Youth introduced an alternative logo and theme for National Day celebrations in states under the coalition's control.
This put it in conflict with Putrajaya, which had months earlier announced “Malaysia Madani: Tekad Perpaduan, Penuhi Harapan” (Determination in Unity, Fulfilling Hope) as the theme of the 2023 National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations.
Not everyone on PN was onboard with the alternative logo and theme, however.
Gerakan said National Day should not be politicised.
Meanwhile, Terengganu said it would be following Putrajaya's theme and logo, while Perlis said it was onboard for the theme - sans-Malaysia Madani - but not the logo.
PN Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shari noted that Pakatan Rakyat also had an alternative Merdeka theme in 2012 in opposition to the then-BN government using its “Janji Ditepati” tagline for the celebration's theme.
Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has highlighted that the logo and theme for celebrations at the state level are the state's purview, and not Putrajaya's.

Najib's IPIC case leak
A purported memo from 2019 allegedly had prosecutors recommending to then attorney-general Tommy Thomas to drop six charges against Najib Abdul Razak and former Treasury secretary-general Irwan Serigar Abdullah.
This is in relation to charges over RM6.6 billion in payments by the government to the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) - which is linked to the 1MDB scandal.
The memo purportedly stated that the charges would not hold up in court.
Thomas said he could not recall the purported memo, while the AGC is probing the leak.
Umno Youth argued if the memo is true, then the charges against Najib and Irwan must be dropped.
